“SPREDing” Our Gratitude

The catechists, friends and family of the SPRED ministry wish to thank Saint Mary parishioners and Knights of Columbus Council #1077 for their continued support. Because of your donations, Saint Mary’s SPRED friends were able to attend SPRED’s Spring Mamre Dinner Dance on Sunday, April 18 at Drury Lane Oakbrook Terrace. The Knights have donated more than $900 to SPRED this year.

Saint Mary is one of 150 parishes within the Archdiocese of Chicago with a SPRED ministry, which offers special religious education for children and adults with developmental disabilities. Mamre’s dinner dance helps support the work of SPRED throughout the area.

Saint Mary’s SPRED catechists include Marcia Larmee, Andres Mendez, Dan McAndrew, Rosa McAndrew, Priscilla Daley, Katie Padley-Bolo, Jain Simmons and Ken Szarnych.
