Student musicians ring in the holidays at Pope John XXIII’s multi-school band concert - Three schools joined Pope John XXIII School musicians for a Christmas concert on Thursday, December 9th - Sacred Heart, St. Peter and Baker.
Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Band sounded great together with all these musicians. Everyone’s part was important; even if they only had six notes, they added to the “big sound”. Pictured at right are three Pope John XXIII fourth grade girls playing the flute: Gia Clarke, Sophie Kroll and Audrey Pride. Gia Clarke is a parishioner of Saint Mary’s and the other two girls are parishioners of Saint Nicholas.
