 Students receive ongoing instruction regarding the sacraments throughout the RE curriculum so it is important that children participate in all grade levels of the Religious Education Program.
Formal preparation for the celebration of Confirmation for teens who have been participating in a Religious Education Program for at least one year (at St. Mary’s or transferring from another program), or have been enrolled in a Catholic school, occurs in 8th Grade. Preparation for this sacrament requires the personal commitment of the student and the active support of parents and sponsors.

High school students requesting Confirmation will meet with the Director of Religious Education and their parents/guardians to determine the appropriate method of preparation.
