 Preparation to Celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation – all the children of our parish, whether they attend public or secular schools or are enrolled in our parish school, Pope John XXIII, come together with their families and sponsors for formation. 8th Grade is the usual age to prepare for this sacrament. Older teens and young adults will meet with the Director of the Religious Education Program to determine the appropriate method of formation.

- St. Mary’s recognizes the rights and responsibilities of parents as the primary religious educators of their children. Parents, in consultation with the Teen, the Teen's Sponsor, the Pastor and the Director of the Religious Education Program, determine the readiness of their child to celebrate the sacrament of Confirmation.
