Our Liturgical Ministers are an integral part of our Parish Life.

If at anytime you feel that you might be interested in joining one of our liturgical ministries or would simply like to receive more information, please call or email Dianne Fox, Director of Music & Liturgy at (847) 864-0333 or music.liturgy@stmaryparish-evanston.org.

Ministers, please remember that it is your responsibility to know when you are scheduled to serve and also to find a substitute if you are not available for your scheduled time.

IMPORTANT NOTE: CHANGE TO PROCEDURES

In order to begin Communion more quickly and to be sure enough ministers are available, effective January 1, 2008, please come forward during the Lamb of God and stand at the front of the center aisle facing the altar. After the presider has taken Communion, take your usual places behind the altar to receive it.
Ministers who are not scheduled should watch the scheduled ministers assemble and be sure that there are enough to serve at the Mass: five are needed at Masses without a deacon; only four are needed if the deacon is present.
If you don’t see enough ministers, please come forward to serve promptly.
