Girl Scouts

St. Mary’s hosts different levels of Girl Scout troops. The levels consist of Brownies, Grades 1 to 3; Juniors, Grades 4 to 6; and Cadette/Seniors, Grades 7 to 12. The Scouts come from Pope John School, St. Mary’s, St. Nicholas, and many other schools in the Evanston area. The troops use St. Mary’s for their meeting place and the church as the site of ceremonies. The leaders do not require the girls to be of Catholic faith to join. Religious diversity is recognized and welcomed. If your daughter is interested in joining a Girl Scout troop please check with their school or email evgs@comcast.net.
