Vacancies

When circumstances arise which prohibit a Council member from completing the full term, a replacement member will be sought. The replacement member shall then assume the remainder of the departing member's term of office. At the conclusion of the term, they will be eligible for another term.

Any member who believes, for whatever reason, that he/she can no longer be a member of the Council will submit a written resignation letter to the Chairperson. If the resigning member was initially selected as a Commission representative, the vacancy shall be filled by another individual selected by that commission. If the resigning member was an "at-large" member, the Pastor shall appoint a replacement.
