The Haitian Community celebrates Mass in French / Creole every first Sunday of the Month at 12:30 pm at Saint Mary Church celebrated by Father Paul. Hospitality will follow in the Gathering Space.

Haitian Mission coming to St. Mary’s
September 17 through September 19
Renowned healer Sr. Claire will be back in town to lead Saint Mary’s Haitian mission on the weekend of September 17 through September 19. Sr. Claire lived in Haiti for more than 40 years and is a leader in the Charismatic Renewal Committee.
The opening night of the mission will take place Friday at Saint Mary Magdalene Church at 84th and Marquette in Chicago from 7 to 10 pm. The remaining two sessions will be at Saint Mary’s. Saturday’s session is scheduled from 7 to 10 pm. Sunday’s program will commence with 12:30 pm Mass then continue throughout the day with a pause for Eucharistic adoration of the blessed sacrament from 3 to 4 pm.

Members of the Haitian Ministry gathered to say 1000 “Hail Marys” on Saturday evening, May 8, 2010, in celebration of the month of Mary. The group said 20 Rosaries together over approximately five hours and took turns leading.
